Profile: Amanda Bales

Amanda Bales received her MFA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her work has been nominated for the Best New American Voices series and has previously appeared in a variety of journals, including Painted Bride Quarterly, Bateau, The Flint Hills Review, and Southern Humanities Review. She fishes, teaches, and plays her accordion in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the seat of the Cherokee Nation.
